5月20日下午，澳门大学Yicong Zhou副教授应邀来访我院，在院511实验室为相关师生做了题为《Reversible Data Hiding Technologies for Encrypted Images》和《Feature Extraction and Dimension Reduction of Color Image in Quaternion Domain》的学术报告。

报告中，Yicong Zhou副教授简要介绍了其课题组近5年的研究工作，重点讲述了图像加密以及基于四元数的彩色图像特征提取与降维相关研究工作。报告结束后，Zhou教授介绍了澳门大学研究生招生及奖学金相关情况，并就研究生关心的科研选题、论文撰写等事情进行详细解答。

专家简介：

Dr. Yicong Zhou received his B.S. degree from Hunan University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tufts University, Massachusetts, USA, all in electrical engineering. He is currently an Associate Professor at University of Macau. His research interests include multimedia security, computer vision, and machine learning. Dr. Zhou serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, Signal Processing, Neurocomputing, and Signal Processing: Image Communication. He is a leading co-chair of IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Cognitive Computing. Dr. Zhou is a senior member of IEEE and SPIE, and was a recipient of the third price of Macau Natural Science Award in 2014.
